Hope

This little 2 year old boy, abandoned because of a very obvious birth defect, has great hope.
In 17 days, he will no longer be an orphan.
On May 27, he will know the love of this mother and on the 28th, he will officially be our son.

A 10 year old girl, known by advocates as "Cailey", waiting for years in an orphanage in China. She needs hope.

A 3 year old boy known by advocates as "Robbie" who was born missing part of his left arm.  He needs hope too.

A 4 year old boy, called Travis, who was recently on our agency's list.  My heart especially  hurts for this little one knowing he was born with a very similar birth defect as Dawson's. How different "Travis"'s life will be from Dawson's if he is never adopted and continues to live in a society who considers people like him and Dawson as outcasts.  Oh, he needs hope!

My heart aches for this precious boy who turns 3 on May 15.  Will his life be celebrated this Wednesday?  Sadly, it probably will not.  I found this little one when we were feeling led back to China last fall.  He was listed among a thousand other boys on China's shared list.  After much praying, digging for information, and emailing, we decided we could not move forward with his adoption as his medical needs (complex heart defect) were uncertain and with our family size and limited support at home, we felt it was not wise to bring him home.  That was a difficult decision to make. I still wonder if it was the right decision.  The good news is he is fully funded by Love Without Boundaries for heart surgery.  The bad news is that his orphanage is not allowing him to have the procedure at this time. WHY?Simply because the orphange can't spare a nanny to accompany him to Shanghai for surgery! This malnourished and frail little one is truly desperate for hope!  His life utterly depends on it.

Please pray for these and the other millions like them who need hope.  And spread their sweet faces and sad stories to everyone so they have a chance to find hope like Dawson did.

Advocacy works - it's how we found Dawson.
