So much to post, so little time. . .

This post is dedicated to Shelby
(Shelby says my blog is only about adoption and orphans these days ~ I'll take that as a compliment!  I trust that God is pleased with my broken heart and incessant pleas for the orphan.)

Shelby's 3rd and 4th IEA horse show.
~ my first and second IEA show thus the first IEA pictures ~
IEA : Interscholastic Equestrian Association
This is Shelby's first year on the team.
The girl is. in.  LOVE.
Better than a boy I suppose!

Katie. . .my companion for the 2 days and hopeful future IEA team member.

My youngest sister was in a terrible car accident on Tuesday.  Her car flipped numerous times - roof caved in - it was bad.  Amazingly and by God's grace and mercy alone, she is ok - in a lot of pain from numerous fractures in her mid and lower back, facing a surgery to stabilize a neck fracture, immobilized in a brace until surgery - but ALIVE.
It is abundantly clear that God was with Julie at 2 20PM on February 5.  I am so grateful to Him for the protection He alone granted her during those horrific few moments.  Thank you to those who have prayed for her.
AND
Always wear your seat belt.
Without a seatbelt, I would not have my youngest sister!

And just because my heart is broken for the orphan and because not a day goes by that I don't think and pray for the forgotten. . .

It's what my heart feels but what I don't have the time or eloquency to write!

  3. Thanks so much for coming by and being a new reader to my blog! And for buying a WO tee for our fundraising. What a blessing to us, that a stranger would come alongside us that way. And I love that your family comments that your blog is all about adoption! It sure has a way of snaking in and grabbing your heart for the eternal perspective, doesn't it?!

Glad your sister is okay - and that you and your girl had a good time at the show. Beautiful pictures!

    Thanks again for reading :)
